The Fake World - Community Rules and Guidelines

These rules are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and immersive roleplay environment for all members of The Fake World. They are divided into General Roleplay Rules and Server Rules, with specific considerations for Streaming and Recording.

General Roleplay Rules

These rules govern in-character (IC) interactions and aim to maintain a realistic and enjoyable roleplay experience.

Prohibited Conduct

Any form of unwanted sexual advances, assault, abuse, coercion, or violence of a sexual nature is strictly prohibited, both in and out of character (OOC). Report any such incidents to staff immediately.

Using OOC information (e.g., from Discord, streams) to influence in-game actions or gain an unfair advantage (Metagaming) is forbidden.

Forcing roleplay on others without consent, ignoring their actions, or performing unrealistic actions (Powergaming) is not allowed.

Engaging in unrealistic or out-of-character actions that detract from immersive roleplay (FailRP) is prohibited.

Unrealistic driving that deviates from real-world behavior, including reckless stunts, physics exploits, or inappropriate vehicle usage (GTA Driving) is not allowed.

Disrupting active roleplay scenes without valid in-character reasoning is prohibited.

Engaging in OOC communication within the in-game environment is not permitted.

The use of nude character models is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate ban.

Extreme or offensive language, including racial, homophobic, or sexist slurs, is prohibited.

Specific Roleplay Scenarios

Emergency Services Impersonation is allowed, but with the following restrictions:

• Do not use marked vehicles, uniforms, or equipment that represent any official department within the server.
• Create unique and obviously fake representations of emergency services for humorous or creative roleplay.

Repairing vehicles during active roleplay is generally not allowed, except for:

• Desync issues where no crash occurred.
• Glitches or bugs that damage vehicles.
• Emergency vehicles with malfunctioning lights or sirens, but otherwise intact.

Server Rules

These rules apply to all members of the community and govern interactions within the Discord server and related platforms.

Conduct and Communication

All members are expected to maintain a respectful and positive attitude. Harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.

Discord Etiquette:

• Do not DM or @Mention staff unless absolutely necessary.
• Avoid inappropriate discussions or imagery.
• Do not ask for interviews; they will be conducted as time permits.
• No bot abuse or unauthorized recruiting.
• Only post links relevant to the conversation.
• Maintain a respectful tone towards all members, regardless of race, gender, or background.

Prohibited Activities

Advertising other servers, communities, or businesses is strictly prohibited.

Naming Conventions

Your in-game and Discord name must follow the format: ### | AAA, where ### is your member number and AAA is your chosen nickname. Promoting your own content (e.g., Twitch, YouTube) is allowed, but advertising other servers is prohibited.

Streaming & Recording Guidelines

These guidelines ensure the privacy and enjoyment of all members while allowing streaming and recording on the server.

Restrictions

Do not stream or record any training or Field Training Officer (FTO) sessions.

Responsibilities

Represent the community positively by:

• Avoiding foul language or inappropriate behavior.
• Treating others with respect.
• Following all server rules.
• Reporting rule-breaking or inappropriate behavior to staff.
